Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His career began with performances in television shows such as in Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. Evans gained fame as the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has continued to be featured in films that were based on graphic novels and comics: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he was more well-known as Steve Rogers/Captain America. The films includes Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. He also made an appearance in The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015. Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. As a result of his Marvel film work, he was one of the highest-paid actors in the world.
